I think I told someone here this before but thought maybe I'd mention it again as I see there's alot of new people playing IWD2.
If you load up IWD2 you will notice that sometimes the background picture on the main menu alternates from a depiction of daytime with an unlit torch sconce to a nightime scene with the torch burning steadily. The game actually reads from your computers clock and then decides which picture to give you depending on how late or early it is in the day. This is just a small thing, but a nice little trick nonetheless, eh? [img]smile.gif[/img]

That is pretty cool. I'll have to look for that next time.
There are a lot more cool touches in BG2, though. Wish there were more with IWD2. I know, different game intentions (role-play vs hack-and-slash) |
