Is the crypt which the quests require the one which is to the North of the caretaker's hut, in the eastern end of the graveyard? If so, how do I get past the inside door, the one at the far end of the rectangular room? Thanks for any help you can give.

There is a lever in the shadows about halfway down on the left wall. Just started the game myself and am having same type of difficulties.

Note that the levers are typical for ALL dungeons in W&W. You will always see a locked door. Always search for a lever nearby (an exception: in the Stout Mines, the "lever" is the doorman sitting behind the bars). Clicking the lever "opens" the door, i.e., it loads the dungeon.
Also, if you want to leave the dungeon, then click the lever again.

Hi Lenwe, welcome to the board.

How did you make out? Did you managed to enter the crypt?

If you have Spirit Eye I find it really helps to find those pesky levers and miscellaneous (spelling?) items that you might have dropped Aaaargh!!
