Battlefield Earth a classic? its the biggest load of scientoligist f****ing giberring cliched sci-fi i've ever heard of, read, and seen. and the scientoligists themselves....
Fallout 1&2 Great,Better than bg in many ways. Best thing could be targetted shots "Ralron was hit in the groin for 17 hp strikeing a senstive point and felling him like a mighty tree" play them sevreal times ,once as a guns person then a sledgehammer kinda guy and then if your feeling realy tough pummeling people with your bare hands. slayer perk anyone? and remember that cool powered combat armor which looked so good. |

Ralron, perhaps you'd care to explain why you think it was a bunch of scientologist ■■■■■■■ bullshit. You do know I'm talking about the book, not the movie?

Hubbard supposedly started the whole scientology religion. Because of this, a lot of people are black listing his works.

Oh hey, I did read the book, btw. It was pretty good. The movie however . . . That was bad. They crammed everything into just a little over 2 hours and you could tell. Even if you hadn't read the book.

i most agre that F1 and F2 is great games, not as good as BG2 though. but that's because i love fantasy someone asked which of BG and F1 that came out first, i think it was F1. i don't remember so much anymore. it's been long since i played them. I love the Fallout and BG series but i didn't think Plane Scape was so good...

I tried the Tactics demo. They changed it to real time and the interface is a bit strange. It's not a bad system but I couldn't figure out to pause the game. This made it very difficult to do multiple orders, like when one guy was getting shot at, I couldn't get someone there in time. Will fiddle with it a little more, but it definitely has lost a lot of charm. Now a differet company has produced it, one called 14 degrees east or something.

Fallout used a strictly turn-based combat system with hexes and action points and whatnot

The Fallout games are one of my favorites. the ramdom encounters humour is mostly taken from the Monty Python's movies.( also one of my Favorites.) Dogmeat is also avaible in Fallout 2 as a NPC, but Tactics is going to be compelety different from the others, i not fallout 3.
