Caleb then threw the rest of the ink behind him and hears it splash on someone.

Morgan laughed at the spectacle, and thought to himself, "wow, the stereotype of the dwarven warrior is showing tonight". drinking down the last bit of water he had ordered (Morgan does not drink), Morgan decided to leave. it was time for him to go back to his room and study, and to practice his movements before the battle. it was going to be a GREAT fight, and he wanted to be as prepared as possible.

BTW weapon mastery is in the players option book, skills and powers chapter 7, page 119, it uses character points , but consider 2 cp equivalent to 1 wp

BATTLE ROYAL UPDATE

Things are moving along pretty well for the BATTLE ROYAL. Most players have chosen their magic item and sent me tactics.

But there seems to be some confusion about the Battle itself. I mentioned the different areas of competition that were originally designed as part of the Octagon - including a setting in an abandoned warehouse district.

THIS WILL NOT BE USED IN THE BATTLE ROYAL!

The BATTLE ROYAL is just what the name implies....one HUGE melee' among several combatants. The ten members invited to participate will enter the Octagon together and spread out around the walls. When the last fighter is in place...the fight will begin..and it will be mass melee'.

Everybody will fight everybody. If some characters choose to work together...that's fine. But this is just like the Highlander...in the end, there can be only one.

If you team up with somebody and defeat the rest of the group..then you and your "teammate" will have to battle each other.

Only ONE person will be declared the Battle Royal Champion.

I STILL haven't heard from Deathkiller or Elif. I have PM'ed both of them, but I am going to put a time limit on responses so that the "preparations" for the Big Battle don't "drag out" over several weeks.

I want ALL information concerning your character and his tactics PM'ed to me NO LATER than this Wednesday (3 days from now). If you still haven't had your magic item approved, then PM or IM me post haste. I plan to start the BATTLE next Friday night.

We have new players either returning to the Octagon or joining us for the first time...and I'm not going to keep them waiting any longer than necessary.

SO...get your tactics to me and let's "resolve" any issues concerning the choice of your item as quickly as possible.

"You had best be taught a lesson about being more careful with your actions," he said. "Meet me in the abandoned warehouse down the block, and we'll duke it out in the dark." He gave a sinister grin and brandished his sword.
