I smoke when I want to which is not much. In fact not really... so I guess social smoking? Doesn't happen often too.

I don't mind as long as the smoke doesn't go to me, for some reason it does. And I have this gag reflex when I think I have smoked too much. So there.

Come flag football season or other sports activities goodbye cigarettes.

Am 18, Philippines. Pretty much like the Netherlands... I mean you can pretty much do anything you want and you don't get caught?

I smoked for five years, but I stopped when I moved to the US. I felt really supressed and kicked into a corner, both physically and psychologically. In any cafe or restaurant (and even many people's houses) I'd have to go outside for a cigarette, and considering it's below freezing for ten months of the year up here, it became unenjoyable pretty fast. Also, a lot of people will go "eww, you smoke," whereas in Europe, it's just a habit, either you smoke or you don't, no big deal. I still like a cigarette when I'm out sometimes, and once in a while I'm happy to mess with that indo weed. I just can't do much of either these days.

I smoked from 13 till I was 21, then the government did a double raise on the smokes making it 21% more xpesive to smoke. So then and there, I said some nasty stuff which I shouldn't repeat , but the bottomline is: I quit smoking cold turkey without giving it a second thought, primarily based on financial reasons. And guess what... it worked! Never touched a single smoke again! I'm 23 now.

I'm 17 and I live on the USA East Coast and I smoke; I enjoy the taste for some reason and it calms my nerves. It's especially useful for me right before exams or some similar stressful period. Don't smoke constantly, only very occasionally, not addicted at all. I like the feeling of the smoke, oddly enough. It's just nice once-in-awhile.

No, I'm not really a smoker. If someone handed me a cigarr at a party, I would perhaps take a puff but I wouldn't light up one on my own.

Smokers don't bother me as long as they don't blow the smoke in my face.
