Death Spell

I was just wondering, is there any way I can prevent an enemy mage from killing 2 of my group with the Death Spell? It's really starting to annoy me...

Interrupt it, kill him. Other than that, you need to keep your fingers crossed, I guess. Go after him first. Which mage is the one of which you speak? It all depends on his protections. If it's Stoneskin, go for elemental damage, or Breach. I'd breach him, then play whack-a-mage.

Cast Death Ward on the two party members that are being slain from it.

Well, it's in the Shadow Thieves Guild on the 2nd quest for Bodhi. I go up the stairs to the second level and like 20 seconds later BOOM she casts it on me and kills Anomen and Keldorn. I'll try the Death Ward thing, what spell is that (what level, is it a cleric or mage)?

Level 4 Cleric. Unsure about whether druids can cast it...

Druids can, I got the idea for the Death Ward from Jaheira.

Jaheira has been tweaked so that she can cast some Clerical spells. Normal Druids cannot cast Clerical spells.

Probably with good reason, without most of her clerical spells (which is most of her spellbook), she probably wouldn't be of much use. Bad enough druids have very restricted weapon variates.
