Ok im going to upgrade my computer to make Oblivion playable (having had the same computer for 4 years, but never having trouble with any game before)
So here are my upgrades Intel P4 2.44 Ghz 512 ram > 1024 (an extra pin) GeForce Ti 4400 > 6800 LE (found a very good price on it) Reason for my modesty is that this costs about 200 € and im on a REALLY tight budget. How well will it play? I saw this gets me over the recommended line, except for the CPU, but that will be too expensive to upgrade! [ 03-28-2006, 01:00 PM: Message edited by: Tyrion ]

DO NOT buy the LE version of any NVidea card. They are not worth that. Either get a 6600GT or a 6800, that'll work much better. As for oblivion, either of these cards and the extra ram will add MUCH to the performance.

Well I dont have PCI-E and that makes other cards expensive, im lucky to have found this card on sale. Besides, I hear it's fairly overclockable!
