Yep, my character will be a high Dex, shortsword dual-wielding lass with Weapon Finesse. Uncanny Dodge will make sure the AC bonus from my Dex score don't drop to 0 when I'm flat-footed.

Dang, this game is difficult; the Ice Hound kobolts and the Bugbears tore me apart.

I started my Druid as a Ranger for 3 levels so I could get all the duel wield attributes without having to pick them. Now that my Druid is 15th level he is kicking butt with a scimitar and rapier. It's fun to launch a few area effect spells in the midst of everyone then wade in with swords ablazing. The fight with the rakshasas was great because I could melee good with them and my panther "Binks" was sneak attacking for 30-40 points of damage. This was a very tough charactor to play up until 14th level though.

On the bright side, though, I got an excellent shortsword+1 that does an additional 1d6 points of ice damage. Too bad my AB is just +2/-2 unbuffed. This will change for the better eventually.

Overall, I'm more concerned over certain battles in HotU.
