Anyone experience cursor issues with the game? I was playing some Fan made modules and they worked fine. Lately, however, my cursor began acting up in the last fan-made module. It suddenly swings to the left or right when targetting a place to move to. Or my character will move at normal run speed but then slow down to a crawl. I started playing HotU and everything was fine until about halfway through the first level and this began acting up again. Tried adjusting in game options but no go. Very frustrating. Anyone?

I used to, but I have not had any trouble in a long time. I am surprised that this is still affecting people.

I have no answers at this time.
Hopefully we'll figure this one out for you.

Appreciate it, Larry. I thought it was due to the last fan made module but obviously it is not. I wonder if it belongs to the dreaded 1.65 patch?

Not likely on the patch, as I've had the same problem, but not all the time. Are you using an optical mouse, or the regular roller ball? Same question to you, Larry, as it may just be an issue with the mouse.
Edit: I've had the same problem before the release of the patch, I meant to say. Still too early in the morning. *Rubs eyes and heads for the coffee pot.*

robertthebard, I have an Logitech optical wheel mouse, but like I said, I never had this issue playing NWN before -- never. I have a few questions:

1. My DX version is 9.0. Do you think I need to upgrade to a newer version? I have heard there are issues with 9.0c. Is this true about 9.0c?

2. My ATI graphics driver is 6.14.10.6374 dating to 7/19/2003. My card is a simple Radeon 9200. Could it possibly be that I need ATI's latest 5.1 CATALYST driver? But if I have played NWN and SoU, along with fan based modules with no previous cursor issues, why now?

Thanks.
