I love it. I prefer it over MSN.

I haven't seen an update myself and my old version of MSN didn't tell me there was an update. I just happened to undo a partition and format my hard drive. When I downloaded ICQ and MSN they were both different.
MSN will upgrade your existing one even with the full download though. It will just shut down the one you have (if it's connected) and upgrade it.

Seems pretty sorted.

For me, it was a piece of crap. I am running Windows 98. I downloaded it, and it kept crashing on me...never being stable. When I sent messages, the receipient could only read the first letter of each sent item. I re-downloaded version 2000, and everything went back to normal.

Okay I have to admit that it isn't as good as I thought. Everytime I post to someone that has an older version of ICQ it just sends them a lot of mumbo jumbo text making them wonder what kind of dizzy spell I'm on heh. It's a damn shame though. It is really quick to connect and post. It it wasn't for that little flaw, is it one hell of a good upgrade!

hehe I have that one on cd, but found 2000b earlier so I'll have to kill 2001b. It might look good but it's chaos on the inside heh
