I just got it along with the new MSN Messenger (well msn seems new to me anyway) and it seems to be working great! It's connected pretty much instantly every time which is good considering the previous one made you wait for ages.

Yes the new version looks cool. I like the file shared files feature and the smilies and emotion features.

...So it is safe to install it already? Someone else I know had some problems with the new version of icq, for some reason he was only able to send one word messages.

I have used the new ICQ already and did not have any problems like that Grojlach.

Just download the new version and it automatically updates your old version of ICQ.
