I recomend Unreal 2, for those who can't wait for a good single player FPS game. It has alot of half-life-ish twists and turns in it that also reflect Dues ex themes. + The visual effects (especially fire) are down-right amazing...

Yeah, but make sure you have a state of the art computer, or your framerates will be VERY slow.

Half-life 2 is coming! I read an article about it just last month.. Some excellent screenshots came with it as well
Haven't managed to locate them online though. Not even the official Valve website (http://www.valvesoftware.com/) offers much info.

They say the requirement should be the same as morrowind, but I really doubt it. My computer might need an upgrade or two.

"State of the art" is a thing of the past these days. Stuff is being advanced so fast, we dont have that 2 or 3 year lull in between cool things like back in the 60's, 70's, 80's. It's good, but kinda sucks for people without the money to "upgrade" every 6 months, like ME! Just thought I would comment...

Well, what i meant to say was, you gotta have at least a Pentium 4 2000, Geforce TI 4600, and two sets of 256 MB RAM wouldn't harm you either. My brother tried to play it with a Pentium 3 700, and a Geforce 3, but he had absolutely no framerates. So he made the upgrade, and now it runs smooth.

Just to make things clear... it's Unreal 2 i'm talking about.

Half-Life 2 is coming in Septemberish. So you need not wait that long before you can play a game of which I've seen some beautiful screenshots (the engine is supposed to be better than that of the Doom 3 engine!! WOW!!!

Why not head over too www.3dgamer.com and download some of the awesome free demos they offer.

I recommend Startrek Elite Force 2 for one. Great graphics and all the aliens to blast that a FPS needs.

Also if you haven't played Serious Sam yet then you need to go get it. Hours of no-brainer FPS fun.
