Armour class: What do you think

Jaheria AC-3
Me Ranger AC-1
Minsc AC-1
Haer Dalis AC4
Edwin AC5
Opinions please

Those are pretty good armor classes. For Edwin you could buy Bracers AC3 at the AdventureMart if you have enough money and give him ring of protection +2. That will give him at least an armor class of 1.

I actually found that BG2 doesn't give you much items to lower your AC. By the time I finished the game, my lowest AC was -8.I also think that it discourages using shields, sue to the advantages (IMHO) of dual wielding or of using those awesome two handed swords.

What was your dexterity? Basic armor class is pretty low if you have 18 dex.
The lowest AC I ever got was -12 using Drow full plate and some other cool items.

My Jaheira has AC -6 (Full plate, cloak of protection +1, small shield +2, Dex 17)
Viconia is at -7 (Full plate +1, small shield+2, Dex 19)
My Barbarian is at -3 (Ashen scales+2, dex 18, ring of earth control)
Yoshimo is alternating between -1 and 0 (shadow armor, bonus from single weapon style)
Minsc was at -5 (Full plate, ring of protection+2, Helm of Balduran)

My Assassin has an AC of -3 in chap 2 with the Knights Gift leather armour a dexterity of 19 and a -1 AC bonus for single weapon style. I think that Korgan has an AC of around -7 to -9 right now...those super-negative AC's are very possible folks, especially with characters like Korgan who often use shields.

My cavalier has an 18dex(from gauntlets of dex, Armor of the hart and the earth elemental ring. AC:-7, but when I had the drow full plate +5, I was pushing -11 or -12 without the 18 dex

Barb: ditch the bard, and give everyone else plate mail of some kind. You should have better AC than that.

did you do the bard's quest? if you haven't then you really need to.
