hehe,
I am off to Egypt's Red Sea to Snorkel and Skin dive for the first time! Any advice? I got myself: TUSA extra dry hybrid II snorkel with exhaust system and wave cutters Oceanic Googles TUSA fins Any advice????

suntan lotion of course (but you know that
 )i was thinking for you to wear something similar to a surfer suit to give you a little protection from the cold or small scratches but its just me. swim naked if you wish i wont be there anyways .

You might want to try picking up a diving "skin". They are extremely lightweight and very inexpensive - made of Lycra I believe. Think of it as an outer layer of protection against the sun among other things. They slip on and off easily, are VERY, VERY light, and I use one routinely for both snorkelling AND scuba diving. I highly recomend them.
