Next people will want to stroke them and tickle one behind it's ears. I wonder how long it is before someone catches a pig in flight though.

BTW the BBC are currently showing a series called 'The Blue Planet', it is basically a documentary about the planets oceans. I've only seen one so far, but some of the filming was amazing; they showed a pod of killer whales hunting the calf of a grey whale. At the end of the chase I was feeling incredibly sad as they managed to hunt it down, but at the same time amazed by how the killer whales worked together, and by some of the shots they got. It's on in many more places soon, and I'd recomend looking out for it.

I'll keep an eye out for that program. I agree, sometimes it is hard to watch nature, as something always seems to get eaten! But tis the way it is with nature, especially in the ocean.

I personally would never attempt to feed a shark, talk about "biting the hand that feeds you" Doh!

I saw part of that documentry. The really scary thing about this is that the so called "launching pad" is about three miles from a very popular public beach in South Africa. I don't think I want to go in the water there! No Sir! Hell, I don't even want to go in the water here in the US after all the shark attacks we have been having lately!

hmm, reaching out and patting a great white is about the same place on my To Do list as go swimming off the coast of Florida wearing seal skins that have been turned inside out and still have meat on them and poking a shark in the eyeball with a jagget stick.
