Sounds kind of like the "Lovsan" virus...i have it too, but Zone Alarm blocks the ports its using, so it doesnt bother me...

Megabot, try Mailwasher. The free edition let's you use one email account. With it you can check your mail while it is still on your mail server without any risk of infection at all. All suspicious email can be deleted from the server and you won't need to download them at all.

109!! Whoa! Megabot that's a LOT of virus mail! I sure hope you don't open any of them by mistake! Keep your anti-virus program up to date and on all the time, that should help, but maybe that mailwasher program, Willow mentions is worth looking at if you are getting so many.

This looks like you've got 'MSBlaster'. IIRC, this virus activates the shutdown of your system when you enter the net (if you have cable or the like it will activate after startup). Use the hotfix from symantec to remove it and then get the Windows security update. (Of course you need to have another access to the net for downloading the hotfix). You can also try to invoke the task-manager and kill the task of MSBlaster to cancel the shutdown.
