lets compare a level 20 fighter with 2 weapons and a barbarian with a two handed weapon fighter 5 attacks (the maximum) barbarian 4 attacks with haste fighter still 5 attacks bararian 5 attacks *GRIN*

Meri,
In IWD2, 2 handed weapons are the better powergaming choice over dual wielding for really strong characters, since 2 handed weapons get 1.5x your STR bonus in additional damage. Dual wielding is generally better for weaker characters who have no useful STR bonus to worry about and who might be able to get some value out of the extra weapon (or its special abilities). |
