Does anyone know where I might be able to find statistics on the amount of clean water available per person per day, or per year, for different countires around the world? I have tried a google search and got nothing at all useful... but was hoping that someone with divine amounts of knowledge wuld know a site...

Its for my geography homework... Thank you!

Thanks... but not really

I have to draw a graph (which I am wittily going to draw on blue paper, and then stick it behind half a water bottle) to show the differences between the amount of water available to people in different countires all over the world, in particular, a contrast between a country of sub-Saharan Africa and a place like the U.S.A...

I'm pretty sure the avaerage Canadian uses 70 gallons a day. That's drinking, bathing, flushing etc. It's scary. Maybe stats Canada or some such site would be a help?

Try looking here. An organization called WaterAid (or something like that), whose purpose is to educate people about the consumption of water throughout the world.

Or something along those lines...

www.wateraid.org.uk is the base URL.

*edit* God bless Google... "global water consumption statistics" was my search phrase. */edit*
