First one -- pretty easy. I take the brain out by only looking at the first letter.

Second one... there! no, there! no, wait, over there! Grrrrr....

They are good.

The first one is easy. As bungleau said you just look at the first letter and don't read the whole word.

Or you can turn it upside down

Too easy. Did you steal those from the military link? Sham.

First one is a real test, used to identify folks with color spotting issues.

The second of which, is also real. It's part of a marksmen-ship trainer, where you must fully identify your front sight post. To clarify, think of the circle as the rear peep sight, standard on all M4/16 series, and the blinker as an unsteady hand attempting to align the sights. The illusion is created by.............

1) Quite easy. Just try to randomly look at the word, not taking in what it says (seeing them as 'shapes' rather than 'letters').

2) .... No comment.... *grumble*

For you. Think of it this way. If you cant see the color that the word/shape is written/desgined in, then what? That's the real factor. Red, Green is the most common. With yellow, then blue. All individual NVGs (Night Vision Goggles) are green. Which means, a person with green color difficulties has a hard time with NVGs. Then can see, but they cannot ID targets, nor navigate because they cannot decipher depth or distance.
