There's one thing to remember. Here in California anyone with a first driving ticket can opt to go to driver school on saterdays. This will not put a mark on your record so your insurance won't go out of sight. No one says youhave to pass, and I'm guessing some of these people were just bored.

I ended up at the Saturday Detention once when I lived in San Francisco -- as far as people caring goes, it was much worse than a mandatory college freshmen English class
