Just wondering if it's worth the download.

I have RAM issues, and I'm told it takes up less space than Internet Explorer.

I'm also told that it's better overall than IE.

TIA.

I use it, on 3 computers.

At first I didn't want to like it and kept using IE as much as possible, but eventually good sense won.

It block popup, you can configure it so that it ask before accepting a cookie, and what you want to do with cookies from that website after that. You have a right click option to block images coming from the targeted url.

It has tabed browsing. That's probably the best thing ever.

It has skins and they don't come with spy/adware.

Of course I use it. Even if you don't have RAM issues just switch for security and cause it's just a lot better. It's really lightweight and the download isn't that large or are you on dialup it's like less than 10MB

Well, it's a lot better. Built-in popup protection, tabbed browsing and a massive amount of plugins you can download. I'm not sure about the space though, I'm not concerning myself with it until it runs out.

Very much worth the download. Anything is better than IE. If you ever do any web development, you'll learn the power of CSS - you can change the entire look and layout of a page in hours (where without CSS it could take weeks and months). Also, there are standards for (X)HTML and CSS, that are in place so that you can have one set of guidelines to follow for your page to look good in most browsers. Problem is, IE doesn't support it properly. You have to come up with all kinds of hacks to get the simplest of standard pages displaying properly in IE.
And then there's PNG images. They're handy: better compression than GIF, more colours than GIF, and levels of transparency - that is, you can have a semi-opaque image if you want to. Well, except that IE makes transparent PNGs look horrible...
IE is holding the web back. Switch to any other browser - I think Firefox is the best but some will disagree - and get as many people as possible to do the same. When IE is extinguised, the web will be better for it.

I use it as well and perfer it over IE. Though with some badly built pages you may stil need to switch over to IE just for them.

Yep, I use it on odd occasions. It's certainly much better than Internet Explorer.
