You not on an internet cafe puter, are you Yorick?
Well, Memnoch says he's off for a bit, maybe things'll
clear out some. LOL. I was hoping to see what the
next level was though. So far we know that magister
goes to Drow Warrior. What's next? One can only wonder.

Yeah I´m at an Easy Everything, which is a bit cheaper, like the McDonalds of internet cafes. At least they use explorer. Navigator is so laborious by comparison.

Nice to hear that you're feeling better now! And sleep well!
Yorick calm down! It seems that Memny is trying to call for some sort of title. Since Cloudy is the spam-queen, Memn propably wants to be the 'Quote-king'.

Draconia - SO glad you are feeling better and we were all able to help! You and your husband have a terrific weekend!

Yorick - I had never heard of an internet cafe until you mentioned it. There are none here that I know of. What do they look like inside? Just curious.

LZ,
I was using an internet cafe (easyeverything or whatever the company's called) earlier in the week because I was having trouble connecting at home - there are a few really big places in London. This particular one is rows and rows of flat screens, they have really fast connections, a basic cafe selling absolutely cr*p coffee (instant for crying out loud) and NO WC! Which as far as I'm concerned is a major disaster - I only have to know that there's no WC nearby and already I need to go.

It would have been a nicer experience if the following changes had been made:
1. Screens around tables rather than in rows, which is quite isolating. It's not even that private
2. Good coffee
3. WCs

I'm now glad to be at home in front of my not-so-flat monitor, and with my not-so-fast connection, but with a nice cup of tea and all the other home comforts.

PS. Do you like my pic? SirGwayne did it for me.

LadyWendy,
an Internet Cafe looks much like a regular Cafe, where they have a room full of computers which you can use by renting connection time. But the renting is VERY VERY VERY expensive ...

Epona and Moiraine - Do they have chairs in front of them so you can at least sit down? Epona - Is "WC" a bathroom I'm presuming? If so, definitely a bad idea if they are serving coffee!! And yes, I LOOOVE your pic!! Moiraine, do you rent them by the hour? I also noticed you joined our "sig" gang and found a really cool one! ps-I sent off my address a few minutes ago to you. I just hit "Reply" hoping I was getting your home e-mail. Thanks!
