The green circle turns red. When a char. is confused I think the circle stays green and they get some stuff going around their head and if they are paniced the circle turns yellow. I don't remember what they symbol was, but I know for sure it wasn't the paniced symbol.

It was probaly a little orange symbol that looks a bit like a head with some stuff on top.
