ok, ive tried to solo, ALOT!! ive done it with every class that i enjoy playing, and some that i dont like too much. point is, it just gets boring. i mean yeah, its a challenge, and a good role-playing experience, but i get bored doing the same stuff time and time again. sorcerors and mages are pure spells. fighters are pure hack and slash. i tried fighter/mage, etc. etc. etc. so now i have given up. i will play with THREE of my own characters. a fighter, theif, and mage class. might dual one to a cleric, or do a cleric/mage or something. maybe four characters. point is, soloing IS fun, and my hats off to all who can do it the whole way through, but i for one prefer a whole party. any comments or suggestions?

Ironically, I started soloing for the challenge, and because I got bored with parties.

You see, I already know I will win with a party easily.

There are some perks with soloing, you do not need to share equipment, you gain Xp faster and thus you also level up faster, you do not need to babysit a lot of people, just you( and no more of that congested movement crap), you can really feel like a powerful Bhaalspawn when you solo, as opposed to your party having to help you, etc... ...

Heh, heh, so far I have only completed SoA + ToB solo once with a Cavalier, and SoA again with a Sorcerer. Currently I have a Sorcerer in ToB and an Assassin in SoA.

Heh, heh, then I will solo Wild Mage, Blade, Fighter-->Cleric and try Archer again. Then when I complete all seven, I will make the ultimate party using all of them except the Wild Mage.

Joking, it would be too boring.

With all this soloing going on, I started to wonder...
Has anyone ever soloed a Shapeshifter?
They can be decent in melee and they get druid spells.
Anyone?
