True Blood
Who would've thought an HBO vampire drama would be anything but awful? Purchase two competent actors in the main roles, add a smattering of random hot chicks and a surprisingly compelling storyline, and ... wow.
I don't even like TV (or have cable) -- my neighbor gave me Season 1 and now we have True Blood parties every Sunday. The girls upstairs even come down now  And on an unrelated but important note, Deborah Ann Woll is the most beautiful woman in the world.

I don't think I've heard of it. I do not have HBO though.

Aye, this is a truly compelling series.
Its based off of some books by charlaine harris, but there is such a large amount difference between the novels and the series so far. Id say the series focuses a lot on drama and comedy, while the books focus more on plot and sookies labedo. Most of the novels for example bring in another hot guy for sookie to lust after since she broke up with bill. |

in the books they do atleast; i get the feeling they wont in the tv series because of certain things about the plot and bill himself that they changed.
