Wolfie, one thing is pretty damn sure, IF YOU DON'T TRY YOU WILL GET NOTHING !!!
Good surprises happen too, you know.

Now ... go !

Well I know that, but this is like martial arts for me, you can only get up that many times in a row when beaten to the ground. After awhile you want to stay down cause you hurt all over and the beating stops once your down, but you´re right if you don´t try again you´ll never go into a new fight. Though I´m better with my fists and my feet than my mouth and flirts it seems
Well time will tell.. (probably nothing)

Wolfie, just for you, here is the complete story of my meeting my husband Luc.

We both went to the same engineer university in Grenoble, he came from Paris, I came from Nancy.
During the full 1st year, we never met ! Not so surprising, since I went to the classes, and he, being a computer freak, spent all his time in the computer room ...
Anyway, we first met when my best friend Alix fell in love with his best friend Pierre-Jean, just before the summer holidays. At the time, he had a girlfriend in Paris, and I had ... two boyfriends, one back in Nancy, and another one in Grenoble (yes ! I was a naughty girl ...).
Pierre-Jean had promised to bring back Luc to Paris in his car, but he wanted to see more of Alix, so for several days, he kept saying every day "we will depart tomorrow". So Luc, waiting impatiently to see his girlfriend, was very pissed by the two of us, Alix and me ! Thus, not only did he not notice me, but he hated me !

The summer holidays went on, and we met again in September. Luc had broken with his girlfriend, but I still had my two guys. Alix and I spent a week in their appartment (I was an alibi ...), but as she spent all her time with PJ, after not a few cold glances, Luc and I started talking, and that is when he fell in love with me !
He new I had these two boyfriends, but he dared ! And swept away both of them.
Now we have been living together for 15 years, married for 10 years ...

Well Moiraine, what can one say..
He´s a lucky dude
Sometimes you feel to much to care and then things usually work out.
i haven´t got that "flow" right now, had it once and it ended up in a great relation with a girl for five years but when it broke, i was heartbroken, really really bad, three years ago and I have not yet climbed back up. I have made some disatrous tried though, but that worsened it all more than being some tries. One "girl" particulary, put me down so hard and in such a bad way i was seriously thinking of going into celibacy. I´´m not kidding, there are great temples in China and Hong Kong where you can party all you want and train Kung Fu and everything, just not have a realation with women or men, no problem at that time..
Well things are not that bad, just that I`m far from recovered, and then you meet someone you really like, damn, life is unfair..

Wolfie, stupid woman that I am, I still don't know how to change font colour and size, but..........
HHHHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWW WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWLLLLLLLLLL!!

I'm sure that, even if you don't have the perfect flirting techniques or whatever, someone out there is bound to recognise the sweet wolf inside of you that we all see here on the Forum! This Forum is so convenient because we cannot see eachother and are unbiased by outward appearance, manner of speech etc. but a truly sensitive and smart girl will do the same thing. So forget about how you come across and remember what a wonderful person you are!!! The girl sounds great, just GO FOR IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

It seems to me that the fact that you have finally seen her and realized that you really like her is a sign that you are quite recovered, or at least finally on the way to be fine again ...
Anyway, you should act on your feeling, but that doesn't mean that you have to rush things ! Take your time, maybe a LOT of time, but don't let yourself get negative. Glass is half-full for you, mate !

Wolfgir! Just adding my PURRRRRRR at the moon, for you! I'd howl, but it would scare the cats....HAHAHA

I agree with Moiraine, Wolfie. Nothing ventured, nothing gained! And well, the worst thing she can say is 'no' and you are already geared up for that without even asking! Maybe just ask her for a cup of coffee of something? Like Moiraine said, you may be pleasantly surprised!

And to echo Melusine...you do have a very sweet presence on the board!
We're all wishing you the best, Wolf-friend!
