I never finished BG I because the game kept throwing me out when I got to some areas (I almost decided not to play BG II because of that. Oh, man, what would I have missed !).
From BG II, I would keep Valygar, Haer Dalis and Jan. The perfect man in earth would have to be some sort of combination from these three. Very hard to find in real life ! |

Sorry to jump in on this thread.....but where can I find Mazzy?
I finished the quest and kind of remember finding her, but if I wanted to meet her again where would I go? Cheers. |

Charlie,
SPOILER??? You should have found her in the dungeon under the temple ruins. If you freed her, she returned to her home in Trademeet. Her house is in the center of town, just NE of the fountain. She's a surprisingly useful character. Kind of a lawful good version of Korgan. |

I used Mazzy a little differently.
Initially, I had her use her bow exclusively. But as she leveled up, I put each new skill point into Hammer. By the time I got to the final battle, she had 3 points in hammer and was wielding Crom Faeyr like a pro. The bow got dumped in the backpack and was replaced with one of those great shields. She was my #2 tank, shoulder to hip (a 'little' halfling humor) with my Inquisitor PC. I had thought about upping her short sword skill to 5 points. But none of the good short swords are on the level of Crom Faeyr, Celestial Fury, the HA, or the Vorpal. Besides, Crom Faeyr nicely resolved her one glaring stats weakness (15 STR). |
