Ok, I have a friend (isn't that how most questions like this start?) who wants to try the game out. He wants to burn the disks and play off of them before he goes and buys the Big Collector's edition. My question is this: can these be burned, or is there something stopping it. I know we had to work around something to burn Ages of Empires II and was wondering if there was a similar problem. Thanks.

If you figure out how to do it let me know? I had wanted to have a set at home and at work (don't ask) and tried to burn a set and couldn't get it to work. Let me know if you do it BK. Or better yet, how did you do it Shadow?

I used Adapt Easy CD creater to copy the Cd and it worked fine,
I didn't really do anything special, sometimes you have to get a crack for copying Cd's but not with Baldurs gate 2.
If you full install it you only need to copy 1 Cd anyway..........

P.S

I love you sig Reeka

I have Adaptec. Actually I think it may have been IWD or BG1 I tried to copy and just assumed they were all write protected. What's a crack? I would still like to have additional copies. I hadn't thought about the 1 CD for the full install. Thanks!

PS:
Thanks for the complement on my sig.

Or you can just install it full and get a crack off the net.

Yeah, I did a full install and used a no-CD crack. I own all my games, and none are copies, but I just needed a no-CD crack for BG2 because all that CD-swapping in BG1 drove me crazy (especially the requirement for the TotSC disk to start the game)! rabadabalaskdjfal;sdjfka;jlfjasl;djfflkaj;! lol

Reeka, a crack is a small program that removes the protections on a software. It 'cracks' the protection, as you would do a nutshell.

I admit my husband and me burn CDs and use cracks when we buy a game and want to play multi or both at the same time - we buy a copy and burn another one. Is it morally defendable ?
