One thing you should know about my collection is that of the 300+-ish CD's that I've got, none of those could be classified as metal. Kaizers Orchestra is gypsy bluesrock (and a terrific live-band, as Lowlands-visitors may have experienced), Jaga Jazzist is a very good electronica-jazz hybrid, (the unfortunately already defunct ) Autopulver is an indiepop/rock-collective with a great talent for hooks and melodies; Motorpsycho pretty much did everything, varying from progrock to indierock, from spaghetti western country music to droning spacecore, from 60's pop to (free)jazz; you name it. I've got 16 of their albums, and they're not only very distinct from one another, almost all of these are brilliant. |
