Pirengle, I see you have played as Cleric/Ranger. This is one class I never tried, until recently. I played for a little while but found nothing special from the multi-class options. I just seemed to have a Cleric who leveled up slowly. Does it get better at high levels, presumably beyond BG1 it could get interesting. How was it for you?

All multi's have low lvl ups. The advantage is that they might be able to cast all priest spells and extra hps.

Right now, Ulgoth's Beard and Durlag's Tower are sampling a little of my party's buttkicking for goodness. Pirengle's getting along fine. My racial enemy is useless now (and has been since chapter three), but my ranger fighter bonus points are still effective. My cleric spells have been a godsend. After getting stomped in the first try at a battle, Pirengle's combo of remove fear, bless, and chant switches the stompage around for the next battle.

My hitpoints are around 35. No big deal--Minsc has 59 and Khalid has 68. One Pirengle quaffs a potion of giant strength and draws upon her holy might, she's right out there tanking with the big boys.
