Z, is it possible to turn this feature off ?? I just noticed that I forgot to close a tag in one of my posts, and got this message... also, with my clan, the easiest way to keep things up-to-date in the recruitment thread is to edit the first post, which I apparently can`t do anymore.

The Mods and I have decided to use this option for the time being. The setting currently allows for 15 minutes to edit your message. We felt it was ample time to edit or delete your message.

We may increase the time limit to edit your message if we get enough requests.

In that case, would you be able to delete this thread, and I'll revamp how I work clan recruitment.
Thanks.

Done! We'll tweak the time setting, so hang in there!

Z, is there any way for us to see these changes? I mean time limits, smiley limits etc? Basically what I´m asking is what are the new features provided by the update? Did you post them? If so I haven´t found them. LOL. I guess I could PM and ask you about it but I guess I`m not the only one who is curious.

Lennon - The trick is to kiss ass until you become a Mod then you can edit your post any time - and other people's as well. Also as a mod one can act like a Big-Shot to make up for other areas of one's life that are lacking

I just love cranky old geezers...errrr young guys.... *smooches Vaskie and grins* You're in fine form these days, Vaskiekins, you been taking your prune juice regularly?

As for the limits, it will take time to adjust to them, and if you really need something deleted for one reason or another, just let a mod know.

Right, you can be my Personal Deletions Manager Cloudy. That's a responsible position you know? I expect you to keep a list of my posts so I can contact you quickly and say for example, "I'd like post number 1632 deleted please."
And Vaskiekins? That really won't do when we're moving in such professional circles, my dear. You'll have to address me more formally, for example, as Vasky.

The Smiles limit will go back to 25 per post as soon as I find out where to change it in the code. Everytime we upgrade, it drops everything to default. So Smiles will be fixed soon. And the editing/deleting limit is 15 Minutes currently.

OOOH a title and everything! Does it come with a raise and benefits package? Mr. Vaskiekins, sir, I don't think your posts need deleting too often, but in the event that you stop the prune juice and accidentally get fermented grapes in there... let me know if you go hogwild or something and I'll help clean up the mess.

I'd like to see the limit longer or not there at all but at the moment, for various reasons, it's a done deal, so we'll have to adjust or at least cope with it.
