Time for something on the edge... a new W&W game. I've played a solo warrior, Den of Thieves, solo zenmaster, the peasants, and others I can't remember any more. I'm looking for a new challenge... so what do you think would be a challenging party?
I'm impressed with Aleph_null1's Friar Tuck... points for creativity, and welcome suggestions for not just the starting party, but how they should advance. So... what do you say? What should I play next?

Well, if he's doing Friar Tuck, you can go with Robin Hood. Probably ahve to pop him into paladin (Crusader), Barbarian (Fury), and Samurai (Ancestral Guide) before settling him into Ranger though. |

How about "The Blind Monk" ?
Priest -> Monk with Kung Fu. And turn off your screen to stimulate the blindness. You wanted something new right? |

Thread necromancy in the morning! On Cool 97.1 FM!
Actually, Friar Tuck was pretty easy to work with -- the Priest is a sturdy character, can wear & wield most anything, and once the Locust Swarm herding trick is mastered it's downright boring. Hardest in recent years? Flora, Fauna, and Merriweather: http://www.ironworksforum.com/forum/...ad.php?t=33119 You really have to stick with no weapons -- in the beginning this means a lot of waiting for Mana to recharge. Or a lot of running back to town. And having at least 3 party members cuts the XP gains down to reasonable levels and keeps you on your toes. My roommate was seriously into Sleeping Beauty at the time (she has Disney phases every so often ), hence the names. |
