Re: Have we had a movie quote thread for 07 yet?
Oops, been reminded that I haven't made an appearance here for a while - as this one seems to have been sitting for a while I'll throw an answer in - this is from the film Identity, directed by James Mangold and with an excellent cast, and superbly put together. If you haven't seen it then get out there, rent a copy and do so; ideally watch it on a wild, dark and stormy night (as I did the first time I watched it, entirely by accident), get a beer or glass of wine, sit back and enjoy...

Re: Have we had a movie quote thread for 07 yet?
Well, as I feel a need to be seasonal (that's what we in this thread call a clue, boys and girls), I turned this particular gem up out of my collection of less dubious but somehow still peculiar films. Sometimes I wonder if I should just post up a full list of every film I have ever watched, owned or generally been interested in but the sheer size of the task is quite daunting, and neither am I convinced that anyone would be interested in it, for that matter. Whilst considering this option I invariably opt to have a glass of wine to mull it over (if you'll excuse the rather poor pun) and then decide that to drink another glass of wine is better than to spend my time cataloguing films and so it never quite happens.
Anyway, I digress, so onwards and onwards yet again to the quote... Person 1: Attention. Attention, please. Terrible news. Although the imposter has been shot down, there is still no sign of Santa Claus. It looks like Christmas will have to be canceled this year. I repeat: The imposter has been shot down, but there is still no sign of the real Santa Claus... (Sorry, 'Person 1' was a bit misleading there as there's no person 2 for this particular quote.)

Well I expected that to be marginally slower, but yes, you're correct (although I do occasionally wonder if we are the only ones left playing this game...where is everyone else?)

this seems vaguely familiar, will run Christmas movies through my head - I know I've seen this one...will be back with an answer unless I'm beaten to it.
