Hi.

With regards to IWD2's xp-adjustment system (earning less experience for weaker opponents as you advance), is there any good reason for taking fewer party members ? Will a party of 3/4 be of significantly higher level by the time they reach the end of the game than a full party of 6?

Cheers.

Personally I went with 4. That's enough to cover pretty much everything you'll need, and it does give you more xp. It's also more fun.

It's based on preference, as well as party makeup.

In a four person party, you'll have members that are more powerful compared to the enemies they're facing at the time, but you'll have less utility and possibly less offensive ability. However, it may be more manageable to only need to worry about 4 people instead of 6.

6 person parties will have more options and offensive capability, but your characters will each be weaker and easier targets.

Personally, I'm a versatility nut. If I could, I'd take a party of 12, which is why I create a party of 6, with most, if not all, multiclassed.

Depends on if you're roleplaying or not Currently I'm taking through a Human male Cleric of Mask/Rogue and a human female Monk.

Fun... so far

What dio you mean? You can roleplay a party of 6 just as well as you can roleplay a solo. Party size doesn't depend on whether you RP or not.
