Like it says, what is your favourite way to play NWN?

I tend to use shift and left click to move around while in multi-play so my character will walk rather than run.

Also the Camera Hak by Brandon is fun to fiddle with and is very useful for making screenshots at angles that are impossible to accomplish with the default camera veiws.

I find it easier to use the WASD for movement, because I dislike the pathfinding AI, and so I can stop on a dime.

I just use the default stuff...camera and everything.

I'm curious; a lot of you say you're partially zoomed in. There are about 10 steps from as far away as possible to as close as possible. Where do you find the balance?

  • I hold down the left mouse button in front of my character
  • Top down camera, as horizontally as possible
  • As far away from the character as possible, for a better view of the terrain

I find the balance midway. This way I can see what my char is doing but also what other chars are doing.

I find the close up views pretty naff, or is that my video card? i'm only running a 2d 32mb min spec card. Do things greatly improve with a 128mb 3d card?
