MM7 mod... update
Another patch to the mod is scheduled to come out March 22... and I'm now going to be an NPC in it I was having problems getting my posts to BDJ's blog to stay, and in appreciation for my efforts in *trying* to give feedback, he's decided to add me as an NPC and change one of the quests so I'm the quest giver. This is cool!
If you haven't downloaded the mod and you're an MM junkie, you really owe it to yourself to give it a shot. I'm having a lot of fun with it... a whole lot I will offer just one piece of advice, should you attempt it... assume that most of what you remember has changed. And remember Mama Hissy's words... save early, save often.... You can download the mod here And there's a somewhat active thread about it here. It's a new mod, and while it's past beta stage (for those who know what that means), you may still run into some issues. Take note, and feed 'em back to BDJ at the blog where you can download it. Be cautioned... if you post comments as a visitor, they may get blown away... Enjoy!

AND, what the heck kind of friend are you away!? A mod for MM7 and you hide it here and don't tell me about it! Just when I thought I couldn't hate you any more! ..and if someone could help me with the doddmod for Wizardry 8, I would really appreciate it!! Ok, I downloaded the patch and spent a few minutes looking at some of the stuff in the game. It's worth mentioning that the items may look to same, but some have new stats. ..oh, what party to start with... ..maybe my 4 Archers...

Re: MM7 mod... update
That'd be *FLASH*, like in News Flash. A heads-up for those who might not have come across it.
And my apologies for not publicizing it everywhere... Misc Games is where you're supposed to talk about MM. Just for you, I'll toss a post in the W&W and GD boards, pointing here. If you can find it, that is, among the Wombat and questioning action... I *really* wasn't trying to hide it from you.... honest! As for a party, anything will work... I'm using a basic KTCS party, and having fun with it. There's a special bonus coming later that makes any party into almost any other party... stay tuned

Thanks Bungleau,
You know, as usual, I'm just messin with ya'. I know this is where this belongs. It's my own fault for to checking, and I'm glad I did! I've said on many occasions that it baffles me, how a company like 3D0/New World can go out of business when they make such great games. Other companies make trash, and their still around.

Oh, and I'm messin' with ya right back...
I agree on the sad demise of 3DO. I guess it's just evidence that thinking games are not in as great a demand as the others....

Re: MM7 mod... update
I'm having some trouble in Harmondale castle. It looks like I've cleared everything out, but I'm still yellow, which there's still some stuff alive. Do you know what'd up? I can't find any more enemies.

Re: MM7 mod... update
You can't get downstairs yet, unless they changed it in the mod. I thought of that, but there seems to be no way down.
I there a secret entrance? I really don't mind being spoiled. Edit: looks like I did find a way down.. uhh, sorry, I guess it upstairs.

Re: MM7 mod... update
Yep.... sorry I didn't get to you until just now, but there's a new feature to Harmondale... teleports. One out, and one back... think of Sesame Street (one of these things is not like the others...).
Spoiler for want to know the details?:
Part of what I enjoy... it's not a minor mod. There are *a lot* of changes along the way. And a piece of advice... make completing the courier quests a priority. Many battles are far different than the original game... I won't spoil you on them, but suffice it to say that you'll want to save early and save often. Rumour has it that some of the later battles defy imagination... including one gamer who commented that he didn't think there were enough blue potions to let him complete a particular battle...
