Definitely do not eat those eggs. On an outside chance, check the oil too.

All your story needs is a beaked yolk to be REALLY disgusting...

At the very least, you'll get some new pots/pans out of the deal, and then shoot him.

Then it's the eggs (he says, showing off his amazing deductive reasoning skills).

I sincerely hope those were the first eggs out of the dozen that you tried to use. There could be *anything* contaminating those eggs.

I'd still not rule out the oil, though. The way you described it sounds like a fast-acting chemical reaction. Quality control might have missed one bottle with something nasty in it that only reacts to eggs. Although, if you've used it already (for frying?) that makes the eggs the prime suspect.

Did you ever notice that the tip of a hot flame is blue? It is possible, mind you very unlikely, that the pan was just way too hot.

I'd go for the new cookware anyway.

lol, I only cook on a low to medium flame, so I doubt it was too hot. Aerich these were the last 2 eggs out of the dozen, and the only ones that did that, the oil was used before with eggs from the same dozen, and there was nothing even remotely like that happening :/ but I will try and get some new high grade pots and pans..yeah right like he would be out the expense

Hmmm. Were those last two eggs out of the fridge for any length of time, perchance? I've heard that one hour at room temp has an equal effect as one day of age.

I admit that I can't think of anything else, as you've used the same oil, the pan, and eggs from the same batch before.
