the way around it is to simply go to www.anonymizer.com BEFORE you go look at anything else on the web. By going through the anonymizer site all your school or history folder will detect is "X" amount of time spent at the anonymizer web site. If the school blocks access to that site then you just have to get to an off campus machine and download the Anonymizer browser plug-in. That nifty little jobber just prevents your cookies, history or any other loging system from registering anything.

Or just wait until you get to Uni, in which case abuse of the computers is so rampant that they don't even bother making rules against it

Ok I don't want to disappoint Horatio, now do I? And your education IS more important that surfing the web or message boards while in school.
We don't recommend you getting into trouble to visit us here, you know! Visit the forums when your school or parents allow you to. You won't feel nervous about 'getting caught' and we won't wonder how come you aren't here because you got grounded! CloudMama

I personally get very ticked off when I hear about how my tax dollers are going to someone so they can look at game sites and write messages rather then being used for some sort of educational purpose. DJG, I think you should learn to be happy you have a school that can afford things like nice computers, not everyone has the same advantage you know. |

Well dude, wait till you have to live in your school, like I do. They do exactly the same thing over here. Filters and blocks on EVERYTHING. We have to hack to get ICQ working, and we've got to get "outside" sources to get us software like JAP to use MSN. No videogame sites, no pornsites, nothing of remote enjoyment. Roar.

No, you don't get it!
We aren't allowed on at lunch, I don't go on during lesson times! My Head of ICT is mad that we can't go on the forum at lunch! |
