That Dallas team seems to be on a bit of a hot streak.

And I can not stand that team.

Hehe, Laraque can get in all the fights he wants, in the end its the goals that count. So tell me, how many did George score last year? And how many has he gotten so far this year?

Haven't been here that recently, so this may be long.

Yeah, right, Hatcher lay into someone...with his elbow or knee. Remember that hit on Roenick when he played for the Flyers?

I don't personally believe Turco, though he is a good goalie, has the ability to carry the Stars through the playoffs; all great playoff goalies must be able to steal a few games, and I don't believe Turco, at this stage in his career, is able to do that.

The Oilers tend to come on stronger near the end of the year, but they're really having a tough time of it as of late...if they fall too much more, they might find themselves in too deep of a hole.

I really can't understand what the Av's management was doing, maybe a bit of . Morris is a half-decent defenseman, but he lacks what most great players have: a fully functional brain. He made SO many silly defensive plays that resulted in goals last year. He has the skills, but not the brains. I think even more astonishing is that the Av's gave up Drury and Yelle, who've both been playing quite well for the Flames...ah well.

I can't tell about the Devils. On the one hand, they've proven themselves a deep and resilient team, but I think there may have been one or two too many changes to the team. This may not be so evident to most of the non-players out there, but chemistry is probably the single most important part of a hockey team. Case in point: NY Rangers. Laughingstock of the NHL, pay Holik, an above-average player at best $10 000 000 a year, when Jarome's making something like $7 500 000. A better case though, is the old Montreal teams and the Oiler team of 1990. Built on chemistry solely (or pretty close.)

So there we go.
I guess it goes to prove that with enough money you can buy a decent hockey team.

I do believe he had one hattrick last year. Or was that the year before.

I agree that it is the points that count but every team needs to have a tough guy. And he is one of the top in the league.

But the question how many goals has he broken up.

I would actually have to say that Laraque is one of the more versatile tough guys out there. I've seen him score and be smart with the puck, which is more than I can say about some, like Brashear or Berube.
