Legolas

He gives her a smile.
"The hills it is."

The sun had risen high enough to disappear behind the foilage of the trees by the time the rise and fall of the land was sufficient for it to be called hilly. Most of the time they walked in silence, the ranger enjoying sharing the tranquility with his friend. Occassionally though, when he thought he felt a little too peaceful, the elf would stop to point out a plant and tell a little of it’s basic uses. But every time he did so, he somehow felt as though he was telling Sorsha nothing new. He idly wondered where she might have picked up such knowledge.

As they break through a dense collection of brush on one of the hills, his sight falls upon the lake below. A doe looks up from the water to the disturbance, and freezes upon seeing humanoid shapes emerge. Looking down from the rise as Legolas was doing, the clear water shows areas of rocky bottom, alternating with a light green weed in the deeper areas. Light reflecting off the scales of fish give it an almost magical appearance. Without being aware of it, he slips his hand around Sorsha’s waist as he continues to stare down in awe.

hmm I'd appreciate detals of your quest wizard for id be honored to join.. madman saw the way the others surveyed him..hehhah hahah you trust me not? well i suppose trust is someting earnd now whats next..

OOC- that's fine Addison. Just thought I'd remind you of the last post Kishin made though... currently I was unconscious.

But that's ok, I'll just wake up with you guys. And yes, my character is not of this region. ^_^
IC- Skye slowly sat up, her surroundings a green blur. 'Green..?' she thought to herself, confused. Rubbing the large bump on the back of her head, she pulled herself up by a branch. 'Branches?! Where am I?' she thought frantically, as everything started to come back into focus. Skye relaxed slightly when she saw that Kishin was with her, and noticed that Madman was with them too. The two seemed to be arguing with the other man that she hadn't seen in the tavern. She cleared her throat. "Erm, 'scuze me, but, what just happened? And uh, how did we end up out here? I remember ducking a chair from that fight and... that's it." The three turned around to look at her, as Skye gave a bewildered smile.

SIR BLANDAMOUR(to Sanael Ganahr) "Aye, you'll have no trouble, for the way is long, and I dare not lame our horses, for the tidings are crucial. A great army, led by the Vice-Preceptor of my Order is gathering in Tarashia to combat this demon. A great sight it will be, though I am sure that I speak to one who prefers the woods to the city. As do I! But come, though we do not gallop, we shall not tarry, either."

"We were involved in a small skirmish and you were knocked unconcious.
I was in the process of using a brute to shield us as we exited, but then another venue of escape presented itself. It was provided by this gentleman here" he points at Addison " I am in your debt good sir, the brute was more taxing on me then I thought he would be" he reaches up and wipe's some more blood from under his nose. "Now I can see this isnt a keep but it is a place far better then the brawling tavern. So where from here do we go ? I am seeking knowlege of these land's and of course adventure" he say's with a smile " Madman, you remind me of eldest brother, he is big like you.

ELIZA "As my Lord wishes. Come, let us go, then." (They set out and reach Tarashia by the next night. The city is all a-bustle with the army, which is encamped on the plain outside the city gates. As they ride through, many greet Blandamour but none, her. They ride through the gates and to the Order Building. As Blandamour takes his captive and witnesses inside, she stables and grooms the horses. She gives Shaitann an apple, hoping he will grow to like her better. The great black horse takes it condescendingly.)

Sorsha

She gazed, mesmerised by the spectacular sight before them. The warmth which engulfed her heart and spread throughout her lithe frame seemed so suddenly scorch her around the midriff. Puzzled, she threw a quick glance downward to see the elf's hand encircling her waist. A deep flush crossed her face, and she swallowed a gulp, not daring to speak yet terrified of Legolas hearing her deafening heartbeat.

With a supreme effort, she forced her nerves to settle down as best as they could. The moments passed as the pair stood entranced by this most glorious of views, in companionable silence.

It was another day in Korrup Shun and the tavern was bustling with activity, as could be expected of a city which drew adventurers as moths to a flame.

At the northeast corner from the barkeeper's view, three figures huddled together in secretive conversation. Oxley frowned slightly; he hated to be missing in on the action. Clearing his throat, he nudged the little boy beside him and motioned for him to do his job.

The boy grimaced, but complied, balancing a tray of three beer mugs filled to the brim. Jostling his way around expertly, he made his way to the three, keeping a distance and crouching a little in concentration. Just as one of the men turned his head, the boy jerked into attention and casually walked over, engaging him in some banter. After a moment, he came back to Oxley, his face rather sullen.

"So what's in it for me, Oxley?"

"Why, ye young scamp... I give ye free lodgings, meals and the like, and here ye are, tryin' to carve me life's blood out of me! Ungrateful slag!..."

"Aye, and what would ye do about it? Ye ain't half as nimble as me, and ye won't get nothin' out of them folks there..." ~ The boy nodded in the direction of the three ~ "So, are ye payin' me or not?" ~ Whistling to himself ~ "Cos I've got all day..."

Cursing to himself, Oxley muttered ~ "Damn these arrogant good-for-nothin's..." ~ Catching the glint in the boy's eyes, he sighed and replied aloud ~ "Alright then. Here's yer payment." ~ Depositing 5 gold pieces into the boy's outstretched palm ~ "That's all yer'll ever get Jimmy, so end yer sulks. Now, what's the news?"
