Damn, I was gonna say the same thing! I couldnt help but laugh...that wasnt very Hollywood though, Ill give it that. I mean, good guy running away...WTF man!?

Anyway, I found this movie very good. It was probably a good thing that I hadnt gotten too familiar with the myth before, and that Im not a critical movie watcher. The battles were great, and the acting wasnt too horrible. I just found it irritating that when Hector went to face Achillie(sp?), he and everyone else acted as though it was a sure defeat! I mean, they were considered to be equals by most...but it didnt ruin the expirience for me at all!

I saw it a couple of days ago, and I loved it. The best film I've seen in a long time...when I say that, I mean it's been a while since I've enjoyed a film as much as I have Troy. I don't really care about its historical accuracy, as I've learned that, for me, it ruins the experience. You can't really expect Hollywood to make anything historically correct...so I just sat down with an open mind and was rewarded. I found the acting very good, and yeah, basically thoroughly enjoyed it.
