A point to consider-Likud now divides the land.
Giving away gaza strip and north samaria, is hardly "all is mine" attitude.
Terror was here before 1967 and 1948 as well. 67 war has nothing to do with it.

About Europe and the oil.
The plan goes like this: America starts to destroy Iran and Saudia (one at a time). Europe protests. Bush responds-not your buisness, i do not care, hey look a biiird! etc.
America takes over the oil fields. destroys everything 10 km's around them in order to create a killing zone. America will also destroy power plants throught the country. It will destroy all the military too (all the tanks, plnes, explosives and Ak-47, well as much as one can). Europe will threaten with embargo. Bush will say-hey kids, I got the oil now.
Europe shuts up. Not because it likes, but because it can do nothing.

About my morale: morale is not "one size fit for all" thing. Terrorists also have morale. It is simply different from ours. One of the reasons for war is differency in morale.
Its a fair point, but I still would distinguish between the 9/11 terrorist and the Palestinian one. I suspect that much in the same way as you despair over my attitude and probably think I would have a different opinion had I lived in Israel with the threat of a suicide bombing hanging over me, the Palestinian people form their opinions in a similar way. Many think they are doing what any other 'good' person would - defending their family and way of life from a foreign and illegal occupation. I don't think they have a different set of morals, simply a different viewpoint. There's no doubt that propoganda and indoctrination play a part, but Israeli propoganda is also widely available and often presented in a much more professional manner and therefore more persuasive.

Re. the 67 war, actually I would have done the same thing there too - I don't blame Israel for that. The Ruskies need a good kicking for feeding Egypt false intelligence reports though.

Yeah, that was the reaction in Europe itself, but only amongst the unrealistic and naive.

Maybe your plan would work if America was prepared to go along with it (which in itself is pretty unlikely).

If you think one of the reasons we're at war with terrorists is because we have different morale, then why carry out a plan that has more in common with 'terrorist morale' then your own? When you can advocate plans like this with a straight face its no wonder that the rest of the international community sometimes aren't willing to believe the 'Israel is the sole victim' line.

What happened to 'thou shalt not kill' and 'thou shalt not steal' - I'm sure that God didn't forget to add 'anyone except Muslims' and 'anything but oil' to the end of those - its just wrong! On any level you look at it.

Am I the only person on here who thinks this?!

I know that to do that is wrong, yet nessesary. Terrorists think that it is right and nessesary.

Yet the end result is the same: if you perform an evil action (believing it's wrong), an evil action is still performed.

There is no difference between being hit by a terrorist bomb or being hit by an American/Israeli one pursuing your plan of creating a 'zone of devastation' - they both hurt.

What you're basically saying is that the end justifies the means - this is simply chilling!

Anyway, I think I shall have to agree to disagree with you on this one - I sense neither of us are going to convince the other. I do hope we meet in the BG2 forum or similar where our conversation can be less adversarial
