Poor verloren! This is what i get for being the only female...

Verloren's eyes traveled slowly from the knight to the ninja. She had never been more confused in her life. Touching her stallion on his shoulder, she decided the tall knight was truly not going to harm her. She took a few steps back until she was safely behind him. Men like this would simply shrug off her magics.

The Knight tensed up when he felt the lady draw closer to him "eeeyaah" he said while tightening his grip on the spear "umm well pleased to meet you again ma'am... sorry if I brought you any confusion... it's just that I ..." blood trickled down in a thin line from his nose to his chin... he snorted and grunted... She felt him trembling on the inside in her presence... was he afraid? or something else? "I suppose its long since overdue that I introduce myself, My name isn't important, though you can call me D.K. if you want a name to call me, I specialize in aerial reconisance tracking and assault, I'm a Dragon Knight from the long since dead sky kingom of falis... and you sir," he directed toward the elven ninja "are in direct violation of this womans safety..." at that moment it began to rain, everyone seemed to react to water striking them except the ninja and the dark armored dragoon...

just kidding... Little short fat men with very high heeled shoes arent my cup of tea either, especially ones who throw explosive cherry blossom concauctions and can turn invisibile... [img]tongue.gif[/img] Good luck hehe... we need a mage I think... that way Verloren can cast spells with someone else [img]tongue.gif[/img] You've got a Ninja and a Dragon Knight Fighter, I doubt you'll need anything else in the realm of brute strenghte unless you want to throw in a summoner and a Paladin and call it Final Fantasy 2 [img]tongue.gif[/img] *edit* i'm not saying you have to be oriental infact I was just kidding unless thats what you want to do [img]tongue.gif[/img] Personally I like old Wizards with lots of spells *rubs his eyes* TELLA! SecretMaster-"Ah yes, the Dragon Knight. I was watching you earlier, your moves are quite impressive, and I admit your speed is much faster than mine. But my business with this elf is not important, though I know that she comes from a very good backround. My name like you, is not important. But I have my own motives for joining this little quest, and I will bring great assistance. But come, lower your weapons." He turns around looks towards the east. He mutters something to himself and jumps on a stable roof. He jumps back down to the Verloren. "There is smoke from the east, no doubt its the brigands you and me are looking for. Hmm, but there is one curious thing." He looks to a bunch of flaming buildings, and spots one that wasn't touched. "As I suspected. Reports indicate that one of the reasons they came to this village was to get a certain artifact. And since they left that big stone building alone means they found what they were looking for."

Verloren-"And just how do you know so much about this. You could be working for them!"

SecretMaster-"Of course, I could be working for them, but you just have to trust me. And I only know so much. My boss says that this was a double job. You are after one of the groups, I am after the other. And the group I'm after did what they were supposed to, get in, find the item, get out. Thats as much as I know."

He then remembered his dealings with the theif "Perhaps you can pay off a certain dept you owe to a baker who told me you stole his bread..."

Darun rode out on Elathor and drew his enchanted long sword leave him be Knight. This boy has know money (Said Darun still remembering the exchange of gold)and is a thief only to survive. Anyway I taught him theft so blame not the boy.

Verloren's eyes got wide. This could turn very ugly. Clearing her throat, she stpeed into the middle of the 3 men and gave them all stern looks, remembering to tug her hood up against the rain,
"Now really, this is no time to be squabbling over stolen bread," she fixed DK with an icy stare, then a dissaproving look at Darun's drawn sword, "Why don't we agree that whatever is going on in the east is whats important, ok?" she pursed her lips into a thin line.

"Ok fine, you three can go look for clues as to what these folks are up to, i'll keep track of you, I'm headed to the east to slay whatevers causing the smoke over there..."

With that the knight leapt into the air and dissapeared into the clouds, the stormy weather slowly began to disaperate aroudn the warriors and the rain stopped, the clouds proceeded eastward, kind of odd seeing as they aproached fromt he north west. It was as if they were following something.

The Genesai Dragon Knight Struck the ground just a few feet away from some rustling in the forest he'd detected. He turned around and hid himself, he saw a small group of half orks leading some lighter armored warriors carrying a large case, they were keeping it well guarded, he decided to let them pass as rear defenses were usually the weakest, he then slaed and stood atop a tree, watching them head off through the bush, he pulled out his slightly bent sword. He held it by the blades end in between his thumb and forefignter, he pulled his arm back and flung it forward, producing a loud recoil effect. A man in the back shouted "What was that?" the sword flew forward and two loud slicing noises were heard followed by two groans, the sword came back and landed hilt-down in the Knight's hand.

"D.K. Strikes again!"

"What the hell was that!"

"I don't know! some weird Shiney... Spinney thing... It just Cut their heads clean off!"

"SHINEY SPINNEY? WHAT IS IT WITH THAT ATTRIBUTES?" a lesser intelligent half-ork blurted.

D.K. Retracted his arm again for another round of boomerang sword when he felt something prick him in the back, he turned and saw an arrow had lodged itself painfully in his shoulder... That's when it hit him that he'd been shot, he turned to the direction of the arrows flightt and couldn't see anything. That was peculear. Suddenly he heard a recoil sound to his back...

His immediate thought was: "No..."
