Yep i fully agree. It was all the same crap... It was kung fu/karate/aikido fighting one guy VS. whole world,guy`s child/family is kidnapped/murdered he takes revenge...

it's one of those movie that just does not age too well. Mad Max didn'T age too well either. I saw Mad Max 2 the other day, and is was sooo boring...

It was so cheesy that its cheesiness actually made it a worthwhile movie to watch.

As for the English Patient, I actually kinda liked it. I had to read the novel in that period for an assignment at school, and at that time (I was 16 or 17 or so), I thought it was practically unreadable - though watching the movie really helped me to put the novel in perspective; it was much clearer in result. Scored 10 out of 10 in the test regarding that assignment, by the way, so perhaps my judgement is a bit clouded... But no bad memories about it on my side.

well, to me, the most expensive garbage ever thrown out by Hollywood is PEARL HARBOR; not the worst movie I've seen, but definitely the most expensive bad movie I've seen.
