Well, Hive, a 9.9 rating couldn't be that bad.

Then this would be a bad time to mention that I've only played Crystal Chronicles (SUCKED) and those bundled FF games on the GBA?

Anyways, some of my favorite games are: Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, PSO Ep 1+2 (Xbox, gamecube isn't worth it to go online), Baldur's Gate II, EVE Online, the list goes on...

Yeah, Goldeneye did kick butt! Even with four people crowded around a single screen trying to make out people versus background objects, it was a blast! It's too bad that all of the games since then have been sub par.

Wonderboy III: Dragon's Trap on SMS probably... simply for what it achieved so early in gaming history and what so many games have yet to live up to.

On the shortlist, though:

Shadowrun (GEN)
Shadowrun ((SNES)... and YES they are totally different games!)
Chronotrigger (SNES)
Final Fantasy VI (SNES)

As for current generation games... I think the test of time will weed out the true classics from the ones we 'think' we like.
