Well then, simply refer to Anomen as a priest with more ApR, problem solved. It's not HIS fault he has fighter classes, so don't leave them out.

Simply put, I would prefer any priest, wether multi or not, with more than 1 attack per round. The levels Viconia has extra spell slots in I tend to disuse anyway. So the wisdom difference is to be ignored. The Magic Resistance is just like Anomen's fighter abilities, they have no correspondence to priesthood in any way, so if you leave out anomen's fighter, leave out Viconia's MR. Then, Vic just has a lousy strength, what is one of the most important aspects of clerics...

Ok. I'm convinced. Overall, Anomen is probably the better NPC vs Viccy when you don't include the banter or the romance. However, for role playing purposes and because I don't need to have the very best party, I'll still take and keep Viconia with my CE Assassin and very evil party. Our rep will go below 3 once I feel like we can handle the guards -- Viconia is a perfect addition to that party.

But, to the original poster: Although you've probably already decided by now, you should have plenty of information to choose who you would have the most fun with.

Anomen IS a Cleric, no matter how much you try to deny it. Remember... he dualled TO a Cleric, aka... he has BECOME a Cleric... with some perks from his PREVIOUS class.

It's amazing to me that you guys know so much about these technicalities! I luckily get to avoid them all by playing completely on the role playing basis of 'what would my character do?' That avoids APR, AC, HP, MR, Wisdom bonuses, all that good stuff. I don't always end up with the strongest parties, but I'm happy with who I take and that's good enough for me. Sure I complain about inconsistencies sometimes between rules, but that's just cause I'm a dork and like seeing my name pop up now and then

yes, there is no doubt that he is a cleric, but u should read my post again more carefully.he is not a true cleric, thats why u cant compare between them upon ApR and fighter type things...

What are true Clerics, then? People who are nothing else than a Cleric? Why would they be a "truer" Clerics than one who used to be a Fighter?
