Let me tell you a bit about where iam from the scalmars have barley any children. so when we do have them we protect them without a doubt. they are considered children until they can prove it to them and they stop acting like one and stand up for themselves. they take there punishment for what ever they do and don't shrink back when they know thta they have done something wrong and get caught. that is why i was protecting Calaethis becuase his attitude to me is still taht of a boy not a man. we have no term for adolesence you are either a boy or a man there is no inbetween that is why i still think Calaethis as a boy. unless someone tells me to stop iam going to keep acting according to the way i was brouhgt up."dameon tells Alliene

"Hmm. Interesting. You are much like the drow. Calaethis is 30, which by standards of humans would make him a man by at least 10 years. However, in reality hes 15 or 16 say, a teenager. He still has much to learn,"

The party found a small clearing next to a quietly gurgling stream stream. Alliene stopped and look around in satisfaction, "This is perfect, the sun is just going down. We will rest here,"

As they set about making a suitable camp, Zachana sends Alliene a message

Dameon looks at the stream and admires the water churning over the rocks. listing to the sounds of the forest dameon is almost at complete peace until he hears a very faint rustling of a footstep on grass. dameon looks to see Alliene standing behind him.
"uh hi, i haven't been this at peace in a while. with my father dying and me trying to win the tournament i haven't really had a moments rest in a long time."

Calaethis glances around, and looks hard at the forest.. "Excuse me, cousin, I will be back soon, less then an hour..." With that, he grimly draws his longsword, and merges with the shadows, looking over his shoulder he called out "Don't worry I won't be long, and I won't be going too far..." then he vanished into the foliage...

A few moments later, after Calaethis had sprinted off, he came across what he was looking for... Three goblins taht had been following them since the underdark, Calaethis had spotted them several times, but no-one had listened to him. Crouching next to a bush, he listened to their vile tounge, obviously they were following the party for a reason, it seemed they were going to ambush them at night... Calaethis sneered petty lesser creatures he though... then he quietly walked up to them, still hidden in the shadows, and plunged his longsword though the neck of the nearest one, before they realised what was happening, two of their number were dead, the second one losing his head from Calaethis's blade, facing the thrid one, it glanced around looking for a way to escape.. seeing none, and the grim faced elf, it fell to its knees... In a moment of pity, Calaethis was about to let it go, when it threw a dagger at him. Gracefully and with infinate ease, he doudged, and calmly ran the last goblin though... Then he wiped his blade on the grass, and checked the corpes, there was nothing of value. Leaving the bodies to the birds, Calaethis vanished into the night, and repeared at his cousin's camp quater of an hour later. He threw the head of one of the goblins at Ali's feet, and stalked off.

"only one Calaethis if you are going to show off you might as well bring like 5 or so but not one its kinda pointless then. i believe anyone can kill one of these creatures. hell i crushed one's skull with one hand."turning to Alliene you know some children never learn."
Dameon chuckles

Calaethis glared, "It needed doing. I was not showing off. Did I say 'look at me?? How wonderful I am, killing goblins?! WOW! I must be great'?! Did I?! No. Goblins are weak creatures. They needed killing. So I killed them. Stop making a big deal out of nothing. There were only three of them anyway." Calaethis glares at the 'tall one'.

"i wasn't trying to make fun of you i was trying to get you to loosen up. Your are so uptight. you need to just let go sometimes. i understand that you are going through your growth stages in live and that can be difficult but you don't need to act like something you are not. just becuase some creatures are less then you doesn't mean that they must be killed. i might mean that maybe they need your protection not your wrath. i know that i hate some creatures but that doens't mean that i would stand by idle and watch them get slaughtered. i would try to first find a peaceful solution, but if that didn't work then i would stop them."DAmeon says as he glares right back at the child.

Calaethis glares back "These goblins... they followed us from the underdark... and were planning to ambush us at night... I took the head of the leader as a token, to show Ali where I had been... although, just why I am explaining myself to you, I don't know... you have no right to interfere with me. Just lay off will you? Just a little... I'm sorry, I'm just not in a very good mood at the moment... excuse me, I'll speak with you later, perhaps when we've both cooled down a little?" Calaethis walks off slowly, and seats himself next to the pool, away from the others.

"Do you know for a fact that they where planning to ambush us. three of them. I don't think that they are that stupid. We are of the same number and golbins most likely win battles by overwhelming there opponets by sheer numbers. did you ask them before you killed them if they where going to ambush us? I doubt you did i bet they didn't even know who killed them until it was to late. So you aer nothing but a murderour. Who doesn't even have the honour to fight his opponents face to face. but i will do as you requested and let you battle your demons by yourself."dameon returns to looking back at the stream think about his brother and how his clan is doing.

Calaethis ignores the 'tall one'. thinking to himself he doesnt know what hes talking about... goblins tracking us, sharpening their weapons, waiting for us to sleep... I bet there are more of them... why else they have been following us, if not to kill us... we killed them, they wanted vengence. It doesn't matter, their dead. They were going to kill us. I killed them first. I hate that man! Hes always... why can't he leave me alone? I never asked him to come and talk to me. I can look after myself. Besides, goblins hateelves, they go out of their way to harm them. I've seen those goblins before, following us thoughout the day... and when they were talking, I heard the words "attack at night. Take by surprise, cut throats while sleep", if they didn't mean usI dont know who they mean... bah enough... I was right... why should I feel guilty over goblins? I gave that one a chance, and saw the hatred in its eyes... and the fear... I would have let it go... and it tried to kill me...' Calaethis was muttering under his breath, even as he was thinking of it.
