BG2 has much more in depth long quests!!!!
Storyline is pretty much equal LESS LESS NPCs to pick up in BG2 Better BETTER graphics in BG2 Better monsters and items in BG2 HIGHIER levels...23 in BG2 and 40 in TOB |

I think the bg2 npc's were better then the ones from bg1.
They have more dialog and there own quests, of course they are not as good as the ones from Planescape. |

BG1 has a better story,and better graphic
