I wanted to try concentrating on Alchemy. I've ended up with an Alchemist/Archer class. The landscape is an alchemist heaven. There are ingredients everywhere. I'm using a crate in one of the bandit caves I took over to store all the ingredients. I've made a couple potions. I'm only a couple hours into the game. Can someone tell me how spell targeting works? I have a paralyze potion. How do I use it? I'd hate to paralyze myself.

Has anybody had any trouble with trying to store belongings in crates? Do the creatures in dungeons ever respawn?

I don't know about the dungeons, but I know the creatures in the wild respawn.

Gary Larson!!

OMG!!
you should just store things on the ground!!

if you go into TES ConstructionSet, MOST crates, boxes, etc are set to RESPAWN!

i just heard some horror stories about someone storing all their expensive stuff in the shack you can get in the first town, and *poof* everything disappeared, in its place were some common shoes, common pants and a few peices of rat meat.

everyone who throws stuff on the ground swears by it.

V***V

UPDATE:
it happened to me. boohoo! when i went to get my goodies so that i could put them somewhere safe, they had gone bye-bye.

My first char, Gringo, was a male khajiit agent, but i found him far too weak to be playable. Nice words and long jumps don't help much in combat. Maybe i'll try a PR character later, i like the concept.

My second try, Gustav, is a male nord Crusader Mark II (i switched Hand-to-Hand for Enchant). Life is much easier now. My only regret is that i should have dumped Blunt (major) for another skill since i never use maces. I always find good enchanted/high-damage swords while maces and hammers are way behind in efficiency.

Any twisted mind has noticed the subliminal messages in the game? look at the magicka symbol and put it in relation to some alchemic ingredients like "stoneflower", "chokeweed"... Now, where did i put my bong?
