Congratulations! This game is actually quite addictive. I keep meaning to switch to something else but keep coming back to it. The only games I played more were Wiz 7 and Dune 2.

Edit: fixed a typo

congratulations kas! it's always great to finish for the first time, but it must be especially sweet since you made some fine tunings to your party late that worked out so well.

the feedback about the priest to fighter and bard to ranger switches is good to hear too. i keep meaning to develop a bard as a bowman, but with so many ideas to try, just havent found the right party for her yet.

the rogue (especially hobbit) with fang/stilleto is just about the best fighter in the game. sure, the lizzie fighter will max stats faster, but they get a low senses, and the high vitality is a bit wasted on a fighter (let's face it, 300hp is already heaps).

and i'm definitely a fan of the monk, as noted previously, and the human is a great choice.

keep us posted as you put together a new party. since i cant run all the parties i want, i like to live vicariously through all y'all.

One other note about the Priest --> Fighter switch. Although I could only reliably cast Death Wish at Power 1-2, I had no problems casting L1 Restoration which just plain rocks. One of the biggest gains was the Infinity Helm and the Power Regen it has - I was never low on spell points after that.

With an AC of 31, not much hit my Pri/Fig, even after I moved him into the front line and did the 4-Man front with the stealthy Monk, Ninja and Rogue. I also did end up finding the Diamond Eyes, but used the Vampire Chain on the Fighter and Cat o'Nine Tails on the Bishop for something different.

I was also very effective without having to "autotrain" any of my skills like Stealth as some have mentioned is possible, or even trying to cast every round as some do. Sure I didn't finish with L7 spells on the Bishop, but I did have 3 characters with Portal spells which was just huge (Monk managed to get it right before AP).
